OC Coder offers weekly programming classes in Scratch. Scratch (http://scratch.mit.edu) is an interactive programming tool developed by MIT that simplifies programming into blocks of code and helps younger students understand programming concepts. We offer free Scratch programming classes to 4th - 6th graders. Each monthly session is divided into 4 levels of varying difficulty and will be concluded with a Hackathon, a fun programming contest with rewards. After each class, students will be given home exercises to further improve their coding skills and build on techniques learned in class.
"These home exercises are so helpful to reinforce the students. Also the tasks are so interesting but easy to understand!!! Really appreciate your time and effort for this outstanding class."- Parent of a 5th grader
"We appreciated this free opportunity, as so many of these classes cost too much... Not all families in this area can afford this- Thank you for providing it!"- Parent of a 4th grader

• Important: by registering for a certain month’s 4-level Scratch session, you agree to attend all four of the classes for that monthly session. If you fail to attend any one of the 4 classes, you may be removed from the class and blocked from OC Coder's future classes/events.
• There will be Scratch Hackathons in quarterly that all Scratch "graduate students" can participate in.
